SHRED COMES TO GRAVEL
REVERSE ENGINEERING STOKE
Rather than start with a squirrely road bike and relaxing things into borderline manageable, we started with a mountain bike with shred surging through its veins and created the Chamois Hagar. It brings speed, stability, and that irrefutable Evil mischief to the otherwise safe and sensible drop bar market. Is it a gravel destroyer? It’s beyond that—whoever heard of a 66.67-degree headtube angle, 50mm stem, and a dropper post on a low-slung lightweight frame that can’t be dropped by even the most cadence-minded hammerheads? The Following of Gravel? That’s more like it—and just like that, shred came to gravel.
THE CHAMOIS HAGAR
In an effort to be less terrified and have more fun we drew inspiration from the Offering which uses a longer front to center and reach, shorter stem, and 430mm chain stays to supply mountain bike stability and handling to the twitchy gravel category. We have added more trail and chainstay length for higher speeds both on and off gravel, while allowing for more party on singletrack.
In addition to aggressive geometry we added clearance for 50c tires for the most ambitious adventures. Super-low standover heights and dropper posts keep blood pressures in check when things point downward. 140-160mm Flat mount or MTB discs hold down the stopping duties.
And while shred pumps through the Chamois Hagar’s veins, versatility grounds the Hagar’s infectious energy. Seven water bottle mounts, stealth rack and fender mounts, 1x and 2x options, close ratio and wide-range builds, internal routing, Di2 provisions, and 100 x 12/142 x 12 spacing just begin to tell its story. There’s even rubber frame protection for when things get loose and rowdy. And while a 66.67 headtube angle may beckon berm-slapping daydreams, the Hagar begs to be ripped anywhere. For those wanting to tear legs off, we made sure it’s at home devouring pavement on 34mm tires. For those wheeling to work, run a flat bar and bolt on a rack.
Gritting your way through a weather-ravaged rando? Weather-sealed frame plugs keep the Chamois Hagar watertight. Our builds offer 125mm, 150mm and 180mm droppers so you still have room for a seatbag dropper while the multi water bottle boss layout allows for full or partial frame bags with hydration to spare—bikepacker’s delight. If you’re looking to pigeon hole, the Chamois Hagar defies classification. And shamefaced as we may be about now being in the gravel market, we’re not even sure we’re in it. Maybe we’ve invaded it, a hostile takeover—alert the press, gravel’s been hijacked and the Chamois Hagar’s here to party.
THE DEVIL IS IN THE DETAILS
VELOCITY GEO
Let go of the brakes and you don’t feel like a bushel of bowling balls just hit you in the back. You feel—nothing. Because the faster you go, the smoother it gets.
REAL REACH
Bringing a mountain mentality to drop-bar reach makes for a natural position—you can throw down, you can ride steady, you have both.
CUSTOM FORK
Forks designed around 66.8-degree headtubes, 50mm stems, and real reach? Not so much, so we made our own. It’s big, smooth, and predictable with a 57mm offset and a 428mm axle-to-crown.
NOEVERLAP
One of the most heinous road traits is toe overlap—turning the front wheel and demolishing your feet. The Chamois Hagar’s Evil-approved front center GUARANTEES Noeverlap—No toe Overlap. How can we GUARANTEE IT? With a 66.8 headtube angle, you WILL NOT hit your feet when you turn the bars. You are now free to turn like you enjoy riding.
GEARS FOR DAYS
1x and 2x options, close ratio and wide-range builds, internal routing and Di2 provisions.
TIRE OPTIONS
The Chamois Hagar’ll be your huckleberry — throw on some 700 x 34s, devour pavement. Add 700 x 50s, hit the extra-credit line, just don’t go smaller in diameter than 650 x 50mm or you’ll be striking pedals.

Where can I find the owners manual for my Chamois Hagar? You can find your owners manual at the below link. Please reference the owners manual prior to your fist ride. Here
Why a 50mm stem? The Chamois Hagar takes geometry queues from our mountain bike heritage and features long top tubes. As it has been proven with mountain bikes, a shorter stem and long top tube keeps you in a pedaling position that maximizes power output and stability of the bike. The Chamois Hagar was designed around a 45-50 mm length stem. If you are looking for a longer stem we offer 70mm and 80mm stem options.
- 700x50c is the max tire that can be run on the Chamois Hagar with a single front chain ring.
- 700x40c is the max tire that can be run on the Chamois Hagar with a front derailleur.
- 700x40c is the max tire that can be run on the Chamois Hagar with fenders installed.
In some cases the front fender might need to be trimmed in length due to where the fender struts sit on the inside of the fork legs.
The Chamois Hagar is not compatible with suspension forks on the marke given the custom offset and axle to crown on the Chamois Hagar.
The fork needs to be removed from the head tube so that you can reach into the head tube area in order to guide the housings out of the internal guide holes.
There are entry points for the housings at the rear of the bike. The brake is on non-drive side inside of the chain stay and sits on the outside of the seat stay above the drop out.
When routing the housings from the rear to the front there is a removable cover on the outside of the down tube just above the bottom bracket. Remove this cover so that you can guide the cables up the down tube.
Once the housing is in the bike you'll want to connect the housing to the non-drive side drop bar GRX brake/shift lever.
AXS The AXS kit comes with a Rockshox Reverb AXS dropper post and this post does not require any cable instal.
*You can add a button called the blip for additional customization of the shifter and dropper post. The blip is not included with the Chamois Hagar.
The Chamois Davis includes a 4mm shift plug, 5mm brake or dropper hose plug, solid flat plug to fill any holes not in use and an angled solid plug.
*For Di2 drill a hole in the solid plug in order to run the Di2 cables.
**Angled solid plug goes in the back of the front derailleur cable exit in the seat tube when there is no front derailleur installed.
